Why You May Not Be Getting Better

Our team leaders have identified three main reasons why patients typically do not get better.

1: Improper diagnosis and treatment
2: Treatment methods geared at the symptom rather than the source of the problem
3: Patient non- compliance

Your body is like a vehicle. If the alignment of your frame (skeleton) has been altered, most therapeutic treatment that does not concentrate on realigning the skeleton and bringing normal range and strength to the surrounding joints and muscle tissue will be largely ineffective.  For example, if the front tire of a vehicle is wearing out due to misalignment (the problem source) of its frame, you will only temporarily correct the problem by replacing the worn tire (the problem symptom).  This is why patients who are receiving symptomatic treatment usually only experience temporary relief.

We believe the most common cause for the above example is improper diagnosis and treatment of a misaligned, or worse, unstable skeleton. Instabilities exist when degeneration to the skeleton from trauma or “wear and tear” loosens ligament and capsular support. Ligaments and joint capsules ultimately have the toughest job for holding the skeleton together. When they fail, misalignment at a joint can occur, inflammation follows, and muscles fatigue and ache from overwork.   Improper treatment of misalignments and instabilities is generally why we see patients continue to “need” treatment and ultimately enter the frustrating realm of chronic pain.

We at Performax Health Group have not only recognized the importance of diagnosing and treating structural misalignments, we have also developed an effective system for treating them. This ultimately means you will heal more thoroughly and stay well longer!
